Can't search flash site?

Help! Is it true that a flash based website can't be search by search engine like google and yahoo?????

My friend made this flash website and he couldn't find it by searching Google

Is there any way of making it searchable?

By the way the website is whocloud.com

Anything he can do?????

Welcome to the forums. Has he actually submitted it to Google along with keywords etc or whatever it is that Google require? Has he allowed time for the spiders to find it if not? If he has just created a website and neither of those things has happened then it is no great surprise that it won't be found by Google.

In additional to that though, he may have not helped himself by creating the site entirely in Flash. The guy at work who does our Flash stuff tells me that Adobe have made progress towards making Flash more search engine friendly, but it has a long way to go before it becomes anything like as 'optimisable' as an HTML-based site that uses Flash elements.
