I have a 4GB flash drive and I use most of it to store my assignments (word document). I saved it under the folder 'Assignment' in my flash drive. One time, I saved all my assignments onto my laptop (Windows XP) and decided to delete the assignments I had on my flash drive. But then strangely when I plugged it in another laptop (Windows 7) the files were still there. So then I tried deleting the files from that laptop. When I plugged my flash drive into both of the laptops, the folder looks empty but actually the files were still there (I noticed it under 'used space').
At first I didn't bother it. I wanted to transfer all the same assignments from my laptop back to my flash drive but it says that the documents are already there (they asked whether would you like to replace the files and thing like that). I also tried making a new folder with the same name. For example, I tried creating the folder 'Assignment', b
ut they said that I cant use that name since it already exist in the flash drive.So now, I have to create a folder name 'Assignment 1' and transfer my documents there.
Is there any way to retrieve my 'hidden files' from my flash drive? This has happen for quite a while now.
