I have a Intel i7 950 CPU on a Gigabyte x58a-ud3a Mobo and can't see the temps of the CPU & cores in SpeedFan.

How can I view them?

I ask because the bundle came pre-overclocked and I want to reduce the nose of the system by reducing the fan speed, and imagine will need to reset the clock speeds and voltages to standard? so need to keep an eye on temps.

cheers,

Press the configure button and then add the 4 cores to the list of items viewable.

Although I used Hardware Monitor as SpeedFan had issues with the i7 4790k when I got it.

thanks.

Cores 0, 1, 2, 3, are all selected in the configure menu but still not showing up.

EDIT: seems it doesnt like showing too many readings at the same time so if I turn off 3 other I can see the core temps.

should there also be a non-core CPU reading for the overall CPU temp?

and any ideas why "Temp" reads at -128C ?
