cant see harddrive! :S

Right its doing my nut in now, i jus got my new system (gota update my sig)
Q6600
Asus PQ5 Pro
OCZ 4gb Ram
4870 PCS+
Samsung F1 500GB HDD
n other bits n bobs

but the samsung hard drive is not showing in my computer, i can see it in the BIOS screen i can see it in device manager and it is enabled with drivers, its plugged into the SATA. its fresh and not formatted. Vista64 is running on my Raptor74GB. any ideas?

i had same last night and you need to go to device manager/ disk managment and format the drive, i done quick format which was fine for new hdd

it's the same in xp

you have to use disk management when adding a new disc to the system (or use the windows disc during install)

lol i didnt do it that way when i had XP lol neva mind its all gd haha
