EDIT - See bottom!
I've got an FTP server set up on one of my machines such that when I type "ftp://localhost/" I can see the files in the FTP directory.
HOWEVER, when I try and get to that machine via another one on my network (eg: "ftp://192.168.0.9/") it doesn't work if I have the microsoft firewall enabled on the FTP machine. Turn it off, all is OK, enable it can't FTP to it.
I've gone into my "local area connection" properties > advanced > settings > advanced > settings, and ticked/enabled the FTP Server box. What have I missed?
EDIT --- IGNORE!!! I've sorted it! I'd enabled it against my internet connection, but NOT my network! DOH!
