I'm trying to send an invitation email to around 150 recipients using my Blueyonder broadband connection and Outlook. I sent a single test email to another address which worked perfectly, but when I try to send this email to either all 150, 50 or just 10 people at the same time, it simply will not send (and the error I get back is that the SMTP server has timed out). I had absolutely no problem sending an email inviting all of these people to last years event in one go. Can anyone enlighten me as to what the heck is going on? I can understand that Blueyonder might simply be trying to prevent their accounts being used for spam, but not being able to send an email to just 10 people leads me to believe that it isn't some imposed limit that is causing the problem.
Any ideas, this email has to be sent today?
Cheers,
Michael.
