Can't send email with NTL/Virgin??

Hey guys... bit of a problem here. I can't send email with my usual @ntlworld.com email address using Outlook. Now I'm not sure if the problem is since I came back to university now that I'm using the uni connection or if it happened separately as it's been about a week since I came back and today is the first time I've tried to use my home email address (I usually use my uni address).

I've got it set to smtp.ntlworld.com and Outgoing Mail set to port 25.

Mail is still being received fine but I just can't send it... Any advice?

I've tried repairing my LAN connection but nothing else is wrong.

Because, as with any other ISP, their outgoing mail server will be restricted to those currently connected to its service.

Change it to your University's outoing mail server or another paid-for service, and all will be well.
