Can't set Automatic Profiles in MSI Afterburner

Since AMD insist on running my card at full memory clock at all times when using two monitors I've had to create a separate idle profile for my card to cause it to ramp them down.

However, I'm unable to set automatic profiles for 2D and 3D so that it switches between settings. Does anyone know why this is?

Are your monitors connected on different connection mediums?

My GTX will have higher idle clocks unless both monitors are on the same connection type. Worth a check.

Yes they are. Thanks for pointing that out (further research backs it up), but there's nothing I can do about it since Gigabyte only saw fit to include a single DVI output, which my 1440p requires.
