Could have sworn I saw this on Overclockers, its a platform (open plan) that has the PC hardware on it, fully operating as normal, looks a bit like a tray. There are various bright colours available. It's about the most minimalistic case (if you can call it that) you can get. Tend to see them pictured in reviews when for ease it allows them to swap components about. For the life of me I can't think what they are called. Almost certain I saw them for sale on OcUK.:)
 
Sounds like you saw a sale on sink bowls at Aldi :p

Cant say ive ever seen a case that fits your description? At first i thought "Antec Skeleton" but you already had one of them :p

Oh my Christ, THAT, is awesome.
Although personally id rather have some form of stability and protection for my system just incase my accident prone self came into contact with it ;)

Ive been checking OcUk for donkeys to see whats new (dont know why i only registered to the forums recently though), and ive never seen them, nor have i EVER seen them :p
 
Ah, I'm pretty sure this was the link from the thread. The one you posted was part of the same range monkehhh.

Thanks for the help, if I can get one I'll use that as my case. Buying the skeleton kind of did it, the excellent cooling without the use of a conventional case (lovely as they are) gets my vote.
