Can't uninstall or reinstall Itunes

i know it's not a great program, but i use it for my ipod, i can't unstall it or reinstall i newer copy? anyone come across this before?
 
Hiya,
We need a few more details as to what is going on please :)
1. Any errors?
2. Is ipodsvc.exe (Think thats the process, or very similar; Used to connect to your Ipod, not malicious) running- If so, then try removing in safe mode.
4. You might try the unistaller in CC Cleaner, as this can sometimes shift stuff that the Windoze one can't. If the worst comes to the worst, it might require a brute-force uninstall. (Manual file and registry clean!)
5. Do I take it you have run adware and virii scans?

Itunes is an MSI-based install- have you tried going to Add/Remove Programs and attempting a repair?

(p.s. one of my work colleagues is currently pulling his hair out trying to get iTunes to silently install via GPO, just won't work although you can silently install it from command-line after a bit of hacking in Wise and ORCA)
 
ok itunes no longer appears in the add & remove (it used to) if you try and reinstall it errors on can't find the itunes folder
 
Had the same problem of removal and had to scour the c drive to find the beggar which also needed unlocker to finally get rid of it...Garhh!

can you give me some more ideas so i can do the same mate
