I've got an Asus prime X470 Pro on the 5603 BIOS. I would like to update to the current 5809 which gives me AMD 5000 CPU support.
I download the BIOS file, extract, drop it in C: and in the BIOS run ez-flash. It sees the .cap file but whenever I try to select it in ez-flash it just says Reading Failed.
I used the "BIOS Renamer" that downloads with the BIOS file. All this does is rename the .cap to PX470P. I still get the error when trying to update the BIOS.
I've made sure I've downloaded the bios from the UK support page and I've definitely extracted the bios file so it's not trying to read a .zip etc.
Any ideas?
