Can't update/download new apps

Both my iPad and iPhone 4 aren't updating apps and can't download new ones?

You tell it to update and it accepts the password, brings up the message about age restricted so you hit OK then everything just sits on Waiting and doesn't download anything at all!

Any ideas? As I said happens on both my pad and iPhone 4 :/

Go to settings log out of ur iTunes on the iPad and re enter ur detaiils worked for me when I kept getting an error on new iPad, once it restored from iCloud and wouldn't update apps

I've been experiencing the same on my iPhone, getting the "cannot connect to iTunes store" message. The first time logging out of app store from the settings worked but it happened again yesterday. Ended up syncing it to my laptop and transferring the updated apps over that way. There's loads of posts on this issue on the apple community board but no real solution

My Mum had this a couple of days ago on her iPhone 4 (downloading a new app) and my girlfriend had it last night updating her apps. Strangely worked this morning. Guess Apple might be having a couple of problems or something.

Weirdly at the same time my girlfriends wouldn't work mine updated all my apps fine

Had the same thing on my iPad the other night but my iPhone was fine. Try resetting network settings. After I did it on mine and it restarted it worked fine

Mine is also acting a little strange, I just loaded iTunes on the laptop in the end and even tho the store seems a little slow it does actually work if your patient.
