I haven't done this in years but I'm trying to upgrade my bios on my TUL AX480A-GF and it doesn't appear to be working.

TUL gives afudos version 134 to use.
I also tried afudos v 221 and AMIFLASH.com.

None of them appear to work.

afudos looks like it's working goes through.

Reading file
reading flash
advanced check
erasing flash
writing flash
verifying flash

please restart your pc.

But after doing so the bios remains the same one 8.00.12 intead of 940510 (named AX480A-940510-1.ROM, I shortened the filename to 940510. rom due to afudos not being able to find it).

Ohh and when I try to use AMIBIOS i get the following error message
"Flash Rom Programming Error: System will not be usuable unless existing flash rom is replaced with new programmed flash rom"

Silly me for buying a mobo that about 3 people have and TUL barely supports.

I suspect that your reading the wrong numbers/letters.

8.xx.xx is the AMI bios program version number.

That then uses the bios file you flash to it.

Look closely at the very bottom of the first screen after your PC starts to read the current bios version. Something like - 06/17/96-001430vx-2a59HtBC-00

I bet that you have already flashed tothe version you have on disk.

**edit**
Look at this.
bios.jpg

Notice the 8.xx.xx number? That is NOT the version number of the file that you are trying to flash.
