Cant watch divx videos without weird line through them

Hey all

having a problem here, i cant seem to watch any divx/xvif films without these weird lines through them ive got the latest divx and another all in once codec pack installed and it still doesnt work
any help greatly appreciated

Interlaced videos by the sounds of it. You need to use vlc media player or ffdshow to de-interlace the video.
