Can't watch You Tube

Whenever I go to YOU TUBE I get the following:

"Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Click here to get the latest flash player."

I've got the latest player and but I don't know anything about Java.

BTW this is after reinstalling windows + sp2

Have you downloaded and installed a Java runtime from http://java.com or http://java.sun.com?

What browser are you using? If you are running FF and use the NoScript extension, this will stop java running on a site until you allow it.

I'm using IE. I've just downloaded Java and still no joy.

And you definitely have the latest Flash player? It might be worth uninstalling the Flash player, restarting and try the install again.

Use mozilla firefox if u dont already use it

Woot! Glad that works. Sometimes I've had to install Flash many times in a row. Turns out it is some borked download; I prefer using an offline install to beat that.
