Can't write to FTP on Windows 7

Hey guys I have a network storage device that I use FTP to transfer files to and from.

It has always worked with no problems at all, but since upgrading to windows 7 I cannot write to the FTP server. I can access the files and delete them, I just can't write any files onto it.

Anyone got any ideas? I've had a quick flick through Internet Options but can't see anything that stands out.

What program are you using?

Windows explorer spontaneously stopped uploading to FTP, so I switched to smart ftp and it's working fine now.

Yeah I was just using windows explorer, I always have done as it's the most convenient imo.

Any way to get windows explorer to upload files to an FTP? If it can be helped I would rather skip the faff of having to install a program to be able to do this.
