Canvas advice

I would like to have a canvas printed of a spacescape image I have but I don't really know how big I can go, whether it will fit without cropping, or even if it will even look any good once it's done etc.

The image I have is 5700x2600 pixels.

If anyone could offer some advice then that would be appreciated. I would rather not post the picture here but I can email it if it needs to be seen.

If your image is 300dpi and it came from a decent source that would probably be OK at 800 to 1000mm width.

You can generally get away with dropping the ppi for canvas as the finish is quite rough anyway. I reckon you could print up to about 32" on the long side (~180ppi) and it'd still look acceptable.

7:3 is a pretty weird aspect ratio though, you'll need to find somewhere which does custom sizes, or perhaps crop to 2:1 which is a bit more common.
