Guys,

Im in the middle of redecorating my house and the white walls are a little boring these days.

Looking for some massive pieces of canvas art/print.

The only ones i can find online seem to be too small, 40" x 60" is tiny for what I am going to be using it for and will be lost in my walls.

Need something at least 6foot wide.

Anyone know of any ebay or online seller out there?

Cheers

finding massive ones is hard/expensive. However lots of reasonable priced one on the bay, which are made up of several panels.

ever thought of converting one of your own photos instead and getting that custom printed instead of buying a piece of art / photo etc?

Multi-panel could well be the final option.

I currently have a cheap multipanel but it looks lost on my massive high ceiling walls!

I have thought of getting my own photo done but cant find anyone who does it so big...

I have a 7ft x 4ft canvas of New York Skyline in the office, and due to order a 7 panel split 5.5ft x 3.5ft

*these are all personal pictures i just picked up the phone and emailed them the photo and the desired size.

just for info the biggest one i can find listed through costco as a single panel is 76 inches by 58 inches

need bigger?

from costco

single panels
51x79" / 1300x1950mm (Ratio: 2:3) £194.96

40x79" / 1000x2000mm (Ratio: 1:2) £179.96

multi panel

5 x 30x12" / 5 x 750x300mm (Ratio: 1:2) £134.96

3 x 48x20" / 3 x 1200x500mm (Ratio: 4:5) £149.96

or the one mentioned above for a 7x4 comes in at £160 not to bad tbh

Ok, that all sounds good, and there are a few pics which I think would look good BIG.

They have been taken with an iphone4 so do you think the quality would be acceptable to be blown up that size?

in a word no

The link you posted doesn't appear to do a 7ft * 4ft?

you have to input a custom size (hit configure as mentioned previously)

Very doubtful, but what some people might find unacceptable could well be perfectly fine to your eyes, especially if it's one of your shots.

There are a fair few interesting threads on getting canvas prints done, over in Photography & Video. Try this one, this one and this one.
