I watched this movie the other night, thinking i had already seen it in the past, but i was mistaken.

Awesome film.

Deniros performance is just phenomenal. It actually makes me wonder why hes turned to doing crap comedy roles when he was so damn good in Scorcese films.

Anyone who aint seen it should definately watch it. Its thrilling, twisted. And amazingly acted by Deniro, Juliette lewis, Nick Nolte etc.

Watch the old one for comparison; it's just as good, if not better.

Mitchum's performance is mesmerising and Peck doesn't disappoint either.

I never even knew it was a remake. Thanks for telling me mate ill have to have a look for the original.

Do you have access to Sky Classics and a Sky+ box? If so, set it to record at 12:10am tomorrow morning. If not, track down a rental copy. It's so worth it.

I really hope you enjoy it.
