And this is another reason why Cinema is dying... Way too many terrible movies
I feel like I've been beaten over the head with Thor's Hammer/Caps shield with Marvel bits. The whole build up and crescendo of Infinity War/End Game should've killed the multiverse thing for a few years to build some appetite back for it.
Zero desire to see this at the moment (I enjoyed Falcon and The Winter soldier so I'd probably have a good time here) through nothing but sheer over exposure to Marvel bits. Think the last thing I watched was Spider-Man, which was ace to be fair, and prior to that Shang Chi, which I also enjoyed, but now I'm having a self imposed Marvel ban until I can stomach the sarcasm humour again.
Recently finished HBO's The Penguin. What I'd love for a darker tone of Marvel stuff, would be a delight.

Unless some data still to be updated, based on the current weekly falloff rates, various are reporting this may only hit $10m-$14m additional revenue over the next 7 days then $6m-$8m the following week. Upper end estimate looks to be +$22m over next 14 days = circa 1 month of showings at $364m.

Empty sreening sounds like the ideal viewing experience. Nice big screen and sound system and no potential interruptions

Mickey 17 has replaced it in first place based on thursday previews, its also likely to be dropped im some theatres so it wont make much more money now, it will creep across the $350m but wont do more worldwide than another 10-20m.
Given the production issues and poor performance. Disney will take a stonking loss on this in the order of $200m+
Just for conext. Ant Man Quantumania made $214m, this is $170m. Still not The Marvels or Madam Web but still a massive loss.
I dont see Thunderbolts ripping up any trees but the budget atleast appears to give a chance of making some profit

Madame Web production budget is estimated at $80m - $100m and it did $100m at the box office, so its losses will be nothing compared to Cap: Brave New World.
