If this is the Akella game from those responsible for Sea Dogs and then the disastrously buggy POTC and that next one that I forgot the name of, I would give it a miss.
 
Damn, I got really excited when I saw the title and thought they were remaking the old Amiga/Atari ST Captain Blood. I know that remakes are flavour of the month at the moment but that would have been the most obscure yet. Wierd game. The music by Jean-Michel Jarre was awesome though and I've still got the voice of the computer etched in my mind from playing it as a kid.
 
Damn it, can we get this thread locked? ;)
Spare others the heartache that this might be the a remake of the Infogrames title :(.
