I thought I would post this problem in the hope of finding someone who is telling me I am doing this wrong before I do the same to it as mrk did with his MX1000.

I purchased a Dazzle TV Capture Card, installed ( drivers, software etc.. ) and started it up. I have a DV Camcorder plugged into it via S-Video and have the internal audio lead running from the 'out' port on the capture card to the 'Aux in' port on the Soundblaster.

I have tried 3 types of capture software and I do not get any audio on any of them.

I have set the audio on capturing to the sound card as default and also selected the 'aux' option but still nothing :(

Am I plugging it into the right port on the soundcard?

You need to wire the DV camera headphone out or whatever it is called on your camera into the line in on either the sound card or the capture card if it had a line in port.

Or for a much better option, use the DV-Out on the camera into the DV-In on the motherboard (firewire).

I sussed it :D

I ran a lead from the AV port on the Camera ( Twas hidden  ) to the line in on my sound card and Voilla!!!! :)

Cheers ns400r ;)
