This is setup to get a live feed to a bird box in the garden once the camera is connected to the capture card (its connected to an old PC) and the picture is very fuzzy. But if i connect it to an old CRT TV its clear!

I am using this cable also

http://www.thatcable.com/acatalog/info_3_RCA_Audio_Video_Cable_2.html
one end to the reciever (yellow - video / black - audio)

Can anyone spec me a new card or has anyone got an idea why its better on the TV other than the capture card? Other than the card being extreamly poor built

Thanks

i is not just because of the details above?

I mean, connecting to an old CRT tv, with a lower resolution, it will look ok, but on a PC, where your resolution is likely 2x that of your camera, its going to look more blocky.

well it is the 1st time i have used a capture card and when its connected to the capture card (i use Active Webcam) the picture is bad the colours are washed out, and i get quite a bit of static. If i connect direct to TV its crystal clear no static what so ever. Any other advice you can give?
