Capturing xbox360 via a USB capture device?HELP?

HI all, i fancy capturing my xbox360 in action on halo2 so i can create a montage, is thie such a device that i can plug my component into then output so i can plug into my telly? Also i have noticed that if i de select the HD switch on the scart then it outputs on both compnent and av

i need to know whats the best way for me to capture me playin?

you can get composite capture devices for the pc. I think the best thing to try is hook the component up to your TV and the composite and sound (unless you are not using digital sound) up to your PC then record it that way.

Composite quality on the PC is fine. You are going to be compressing the image surely so that you can distribute it across the web.

You will not notice that much drop in quality by having the component cable to your TV displaying non HD images it would be similar to haveing a RGB cable. On the Xbox I dropped from RGB to composite on my TV for montage work. and reverted back after. It did not hamper my gaming ability.
