Car break in, key cloning

Does anybody know anything about key cloning?

My car was originally broken into with some wedges down the b pillar, this left scratches down the pillar, this all coming from the breakdown guy from the RaC.

Now the car has been broken into again, however this time no marks, my GFs car has also been broken into with zero visible signs of entry anywhere.

Both are not keyless entry, ones a 18 plate Ibiza the other a fiesta 13 plate.

Is there any way to check? remedy? Can't find anything on Google other than prevention methods.

not keyless and they are getting in ?
are they stealing something valuble or they rummage around and find nothing ?

There is a new tactic out that apparently you can steal cars through headlights ?

if its happened twice, sounds like your being targeted

Would seem odd on old cars though? Unless they're stripping them for parts - but normally they'd just leave the car and strip it as it's faff to get rid of the chassis, whereas the body parts are much harder to trace.

Edit: for some reason I'd read that as they'd taken the car. If there's nothing missing this time, then yeah I'd agree with the above that it looks like you're being targeted. Do you carry any expensive equipment around for work/hobbies? Gotta be some reason to attempt break in to a car.
