i'm coming to the end of my rope regarding this and am looking for some help/info?
I have just bought an Asus TUF FX707ZC laptop to replace the Lenovo i use in the
truck when i am away all week. The charger i use currently doesn't fit the Jack on the Asus
so i have been looking all weekend for a charger and have come up with nothing. The
power requirements are 20volt and 200w which is quite a lot so i'm thinking there maybe
isn't one? Never even thought of looking into this first as i thought i would get a charger no
problem but it's starting to look like i made an £800 error!!! i don't want to go down the
route of an inverter and maybe the chance of flat batteries but have been looking at large
power stations/packs..anyone with any help on this would be great.
thanks

Isn't this quite a high powered gaming laptop? About £35 for a 300W cig lighter inverter thing. Would need to keep the engine going though I think. :(

Possibly better off with a laptop that use USB C charge port.

really didn't do my homework on the power side of things! The truck has a tracker and the boss will know when the motor
is running and that wouldn't have a happy ending !! thanks for your reply

Don't use an inverter, that would be very inefficient. You need a 12v to 20v DC to DC converter. 200w is quite a lot so might blow a fuse if you connect it via the cig lighter socket. And it will flatten the battery pretty quick at 200w so you wouldn't get much charging done without running the engine anyway.
