I experienced my second serious car crash on the weekend.
I was a passenger and we were turning on to a quiet residential street at a cross roads. There was nothing coming, but visibility due to cars either side of the road was limited to about 40m.
All of a sudden as well pulled out, smash, a car hit just under the wing mirror. He was driving at massive speed, as we span a full 360 degrees which the police and witnesses were astonished by.
Turns out both the driver and the passnger were drink drivers and have been arrested - the witnesses say they had been joy riding around the area for some time and can testify to the immense speeds they were driving.
Will they get done for dangerous driving as well as drink driving and, if so, what sentence/fine is to be expected?

PS I am still in shock and really feel bad about it. Had they had been a few feet more my way I would have been paste, crushed from the side...
