lol, thats pretty wild. This has happened 3 times that I can remember in my village. Most recent one was somebody driving through the frontage of the nationwide building society. It is on the outside of a 90 degree bend though so possibly was somebody taking the bend WAY too fast and ploughed into it. The one before was an old guy driving a picasso through the side of the laundrette, and before that an old woman drove through the front of the laundrette. I don't know why the laundrette gets so much carnage, you would have to be completely inept at driving to crash into it.

Shop assistant Jane Cummins, who works at the Deli Bakery across the road, said she heard an explosion that sounded like a bomb going off.

I wonder how many bombs she's heard go of?

Timperley ward councillor Neil Taylor said: "It is amazing that no-one has been killed." Cllr Taylor, who has been campaigning for speed restrictions on the road, said: "My understanding is that speed was not an issue in this case. But you do have people flouting the law, going at 60 to 70mph along there."

Unbelievable! This cretin had to get a dig in at speeding drivers even though speed had nothing to do with this accident.

wow, i was expecting a car poking out of a shop front window - not that. good effort!

Holy crap.

Simliar thing happened at mine, car went through the double doors at a brand new indian restruant is was sitting in the middle. Was lucky not to hit any structure.

Happened at the top near me as well a Woman Drove straight in the Butchers Shop in Woolston. Apparently was parked outside put Car in reverse or thought she had hit the accelerator and went forward straight in to the Shop
