I want to own my nephew on a racing game.

Must have lan support, be easy to play and run on a 2.4ghz,1gigram,ati 9000

Suggestions?

Some quality games have been had playing 4 player split screen on toca 1. Toca 1 and 2 are great

Will NFS:MW run acceptably on a Radeon 9000? It is an easy and fun game to play for pretty much any age but you may find the PC a shade slow to play it comfortably.

For older games I'd take a look at NFS: Porsche Challenge(aka NFS: Porsche 2000) which depending on your relative abilities will allow you to do a 360 and carry on barely having slowed down so if you want to show your nephew how good you are then that could work. Toca 1 & 2 are also great fun over a Lan if they work but they are a bit less arcade like.
