Car ice insurance question

It's that time of year again when I have to renew my car insurance, it's due tomorrow (yes nothing like leaving it to the last minute).

Now I've been getting some pretty good quotes but most places don't want to offer more than £750 when it comes to ice gear, can any recommend anywhere that covers more than this and hopefully still gives competitive quotes?

For some reason the Morethan online quote thingy came back with unable to insure, very odd.

Well after weighing up the various pros and cons it worked out cheaper to get a policy with a £750 ice limit than ones that offered more. Ended up paying £580 which isn't too bad considering the missus isn't 25 yet.
