Let me out!
Does anyone know if Kanes list of car insurance postcodes still accurate?

I am moving from KT1 postcode (listed in Kanes post as a 5A risk area)

To a KT20 postcode (listed as a 3a)

However my girlfriends insurance company want to raise her insurance by quite a large percentage as we are moving (according to them) a higher risk area.

Is this just a scumbag insurance company scam, she has 6 months left on this policy so it would probably be best not to change companies as she would not get much of her premium back.

Is there anything i can do?

I just got a new motorcycle and the premium has dropped £200 a year by moving to the above postcode, so why have here insurers decided to be a bunch of ***** about it?

unfortunatly you can pretty much like it or cancel, and bend over and take the cancilation charges + lack of years no-claims :(

you could try complaining etc but i seriously doubt you'll be able to do anything about it. Maybe tell they your reducing the milage on the car at the same time to take some of he sting out of the tail... cause obiously your moving nearer to work ain't ya?

No, moving further, cant afford house prices where we were, however its still £15 more per month even if i reduce the annual mileage, and this is for a 1.8 diesel focus..

insurance companies are scum.
