Wow, that is ridiculous. Wouldn’t blame you for getting rid asap.

That’s pretty much what I said when they told me. As much as I really enjoyed driving it again today, don’t think I can rebuild any form of trust with it again. Hopefully I will get my new V5 late next week or week after so will be gone soon.

Well I have sold the car via Carwow, just waiting the dealer to contact me about a collecting the car.

Finally! Hope you got a fair price for it. What's next?

Yep almost gone now. I did try to sell it on EBay first, but had no interest so Carwow it was. Didn’t get what I wanted but still better than we buy any car and roughly what I would have got trading it in.

What’s next is rather difficult to answer at the moment. As i am currently facing redundancy at work and the money from the sale of the car may have to be added into that redundancy pot if the worst was to happen. So for the meantime the 25 year old Corolla is staying until I know the outcome. I do have a good idea on what I would like and I may go EV?
