Car just got hit, nice..!!!

Some sod, (well OK in know who it was) has hit my car, and took chunks of paint off the rear left side bumper. It was a 4 x 4, and he did it with his wheel etc.. I could see on his car, very faintly where he’d tried to remove the evidence. Company car park, CCTV doesn’t record the car park where my car was parked, I enquired about this.

Argue like I did, he isn’t admitting to it, some people have no morals. This is going to cost best part of £150 to get fixed, as it needs the entire bumper re spraying. I’d do it myself, but I’ve not got the correct equipment anymore. Unless I can use a hobby airbrush…

Not in a good mood now. Basically, tough luck as always, sometimes it makes you wonder why we buy nice motors, no one else seems to give a damn about them. I’ve always hated BMW X5’s, now I hate them even more.

I’ve already spoken with him, he isn’t admitting it and just says, if it was me I’d admit to it. I could take it to the police, but he wasn’t speeding, so they’d not be interested.

It really does make your blood boil, and the £150 is estimated, I bet it costs more then this to get the bumper repainted. It is only small chunks, wonder if I could just airbrush some touchup paint into the marks, and buff it out?

Hmm… Annoyed, but that’s people for you… Well not all folks are so dis-honest.

I know. He knows it’s my car, hit it with a bloody great X 5 front wheel as he was obviously turning into the bay, and scratched my car, and took a few chunks of paint with it.

Denies it, I’m not even going to bother arguing anymore. Such is this country and the ludicrous police /criminal system I’d stand more chance of being rang by Honda and them saying

“we understand a Honda has been damaged, allow us to fix this for free, and have a Accord Type S for the time being to drive around in, as you car is being fixed”

That ain’t gonna happen anytime now is it..??

I’ve called a smart repair company that do mobile repairs; they reckon they can fix this for around £60. Not sure how they do this, but I guess they just blow some touchup paint into the marks, clear it and buff out.

If it masks or hides the marks, and looks OK, then this’ll do. It won’t rust, as it’s plastic. I’m still peeved though, hasn’t even got the guts to admit it. I really just wanted to smack the git in the mouth. But then I’d loose my job.

I’ll just have to stump up the £60 odd or whatever it does eventually cost me.

We do work for the same company, in truth it is a bad car park. Spaces are tight, the bays aren’t very wide, but this is no excuse to lie when I know it was him. He’s basically got away with it. His bare face lying has got him out of a bill that he should be paying.

Mostly they hit your car and drive off and find another space, this guy didn’t even do that. No offence to X5 drivers, but these cars sometimes are a menace. The car is too big for the space and gap he parked in. I parked my car sensible, didn’t straddle the white lines, and yet he parked so close it was crazy. X5’s are a big car, they need a lot of room to move around in, sometimes these drivers forget how big these cars our. It’s the same with Range Rovers, they have a place etc… But sometimes they do try and squeeze them into places where only a fiesta would fit.

Tell you what was even worse, he said “prove it”, and then the guy on the other desk said “well you will buy nice cars, pays to have a car like mine that’s worth nothing. Those who buy nice cars should expect this”. Great..!!!

Still, as tempting as the Brake Fluid, keys etc are I guess he’s laughing, and I’m facing a repair bill. The car is Metallic BTW. I’d not be so bothered, but it’s a wonderful car, I feel totally gutted.

I’ve had the car being attempted to be stolen from my drive and they broke the wing mirror, it’s been hit in Tesco on another wing mirror and deeply scratched, and now it’s been damaged on the rear bumper by some inconsiderate liar. Wouldn’t be so bad if I’d done all this damage, but I’m having to foot the bill for all this…. I’m really starting to get aggravated with it all.

Some great revenge ideas here, I’d personally like to get £90 (what this is going to cost me to fix) worth of punching on his face…. Little point in damaging his car, as he obviously cares little for it, I think it’s a company car anyhow.

I spoke with the company facilities manager, CCTV didn’t get the SOB on camera, so unless he admits to this, the company aren’t going to do anything. He was outside smoking in the car park today, I walked past, he just looked as to say – “yeh prove it”.

I just wanted to run over and jam the cigarette he was smoking in his eyes. Little *****. Some guy from Car Medic is going to fix this anyhow, and also fix the door mirror, might as well seeing as he is now fixing the rear bumper.

I have now written this off. He has easily got away with it. The lax laws for private land, and his total disregard for others property and his low morals means I’m out of pocket, and he just thinks its funny. Waste of human life IMO. Bloody scum, they get these 4 x 4 X5’s and they think they are god..!!

Not worth my job to do anything vindictive although I wanted to, so badly.
