Car MOT Issue (date?)

Car was originally on a 07 plate, now on a private plate (4months~).

Got a letter last week from the garage I bought the car from displaying the original plate saying MOT was due 18th July which I thought sounded about right.

Phoned up my local offical Fiat who checked with the original plate and said it's not due to mid Sept, new plate didn't come up but she explained she was using a Fiat database and it would only show up the original plate that it was issued with.

Phoned up the garage I bought the car from and service manager called back to say the date of start of warrenty which is usually the same date as MOT is down as 11th Sept, he thinks I should go by this date but obviously don't want to drive around without an MOT

Checked on DVLA website and old 07 plate comes up with no car and new personal plate comes up with the following details:

Date of Liability 01 11 2010
Date of First Registration 18 07 2007

Year of Manufacture 2007
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1368CC
CO2 Emissions 167g/Km
Fuel Type Petrol
Export Marker Not Applicable
Vehicle Status Licence Not Due
Vehicle Colour BLUE
Vehicle Type Approval M1

Date of liability - November? So now I have 18th July, mid sept and early Nov all as possible MOT dates.

Don't have the logbook on me at the moment but of the top of my head 18th July sounds about right for what I remember is written in there?

Any ideas? Only the garage I bought it from has sent me a letter about the MOT?

He is wrong then, obviously it is not September or it would have been a 57 plate car.

I did ask this and he said it was a case the car would have just been sitting around and the dates would have crossed over.

I'll check the log book tonight to be sure.

Annoying thing is no garage will give me a courtesy car because of my age (2 weeks off of 21) yet they let me test drive IG18+ cars

I'd be happy with a sodding eco Corsa.
