I need to buy a crankshafts position sensor, OEM is Denso. But, I can't wait a week for the part so what other alternative do I go for?

I tried sensors UK, but it has failed during the test drive after fitting it... They've their own website, just avoid.

On the side note, this thread might be good to share your experiences with car parts manufacturers to help people save the hassle. :)

Weren't they on a consumer advice program presented by Russell someone? apparently come from behind to give the market leaders stiff competition.

Blueprint would be my choice. Also available on Amazon with Prime next day del for £50
Have you used one of their sensors? I'm just scared it might not work, one aftermarket sensor has already failed. But getting my hands on a Denso seems nearly impossible... :( Unless, I wait a week.

I've used a few Blueprint products, including a clutch and ABS sensor in my girlfriend's car. They are the OEM supplier for a lot of parts to the big Japanese car manufacturers so their parts are pretty top notch.

You know what, I'll just go with the flow... I should have asked before buying a sensor, tried searching, but there's nothing on google.

And have both my legs and the ability to ride a bike ;)
Step up the game son, I've both legs too. ;) You mean a bike with pedals or moped? You don't even have a license.... STFU and stop spamming. ;)
This for the EP2?

Have you tried https://www.coxmotorparts.co.uk? Might not be listed but I have been in touch for stuff and they have sent it pretty quickly.

Yep, I'll give them a call, I checked this site before. But since I didn't see the part, I assumed they probably won't have it. Thanks :)

:)

Have you tried cleaning the probe on the original one, usually a gentle rub with a cardboard nail file and a quick rub with a rag soaked with petrol is all it needs.

The sensor has a rubber casing on it, unfortunately the rubber is all cracked up. All the tutorials I've seen on Civic's, including midnight garage said to replace it if the rubber is cracked up.

Honda and yet such a pain in the...

Edit
Unless you mean the pins? I got rid of the little copper residue on one of the pins with a little file. Apparently it doesn't take much to damage that sensor, a bit of water can kill it...
