Car racing games ? (quest 2 or PCVR)

Project cars 2 has very good VR support and it goes on sale fairly often. I got in a humble racing game bundle but bought the season pass on sale later. I wanted the historic version of the Le Mans track. I like older cars on the historic tracks.

Depending on your GPU and the resolution and frame rate you run at you will probably need to turn some game settings down but it'll still look good and run smoothly when you've picked your settings.

downloaded it, tried steam vr mode and oculus VR modes, not full screen
i.e i see a screen in VR with the game on, i assume if i goto settings i can change to full screen ? but the touch controllers dont work ?

You can highlight menu options by looking at them, might be a toggle in the menus, can't remember. I do the menu options with the gamepad I use to drive, no touch controller support. Full screen isn't ringing any bells, may be a menu option?

Assetto Corsa Competizione is my game of choice. That and Dirt Rally 2. The latter can be picked up very cheaply. I have simply not played or been interested enough to play anything else since getting the Quest 2. Nothing beats the feeling of mastering a lap at your favourite track of ACC and then going on the win in multiplayer. Ideally get a wheel too. That can get pretty expensive if you go down the route of modular but there are some lower cost options around.

Haha, yes, definitely worth noting that the menus are in flat projected 2d mode and only once in the car does it swap to proper VR, sorry I should have mentioned that :)

Man I'm hammering this section recently but one more question! I've got an xbox controller but when I tried briefly last night I couldn't get anything other than KB/Mouse to control the game...know how to sort that?
