Right guys a little help from you tecchies that know far more than me (zero)
I have a 02 Clio which is a small family car with no fancy mods or anything
the car CD player got a cd 'stuck' in the player itself about 6 months ago
and it wont come out to save its life - well and truly stuck

so seen as both me and my wife have smart phones (HTC) soon to be upgraded
my questions are
1. can I buy a radio with some kind of input to allow the music from the smart phone to play back and that also applies to the phone satnav which I use all the time (everyday) not interested in it having a CD player
can such a player be had for around £100 that would play through the car speakers

I am a complete dinasour in regards car strereos and car upgrades in general
and would appreciate suggestion (model numbers) and any links that can help me here

Thanks
Chris

I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find a radio that you can stream music to from your phone via bluetooth etc. I've been off the audio scene for a while.

I can tell you that fitting a radio in a Clio is a doddle if it's the same as my 182.

Don't bother with radio pins. Just find 4 thin screen drivers and insert them about an inch in to all 4 holes. Then push them outslighty (towards the windows) and pull back and the stock unit comes out.

You might need a wiring harness. Then it's just a case of fitting the cage, wiring it all up (put the ignition on and check it works and holds memory) then just slot it in and attach and trim & fascia's.
