Car Raido keys - were from?

I vaugley remember someone say that if you dont have any keys for removing the car radio from a FORD Fiesta you could use coat hangers and bend them into shape and use those - is this true?

If not were would the best place to be to get some - seeing as no one I know has a set

coat hangers or welding rods are ment to be good. ive only ever used the correct tool before. halfords probably sell them

Your local motorfactors should have some for next to nothing.

I've always used coat hangers or small screw drivers (like TORX drivers).

Bare in mind it can take a while to get it right. And if you don't you'll scratch the hell out of your HU or even break one of the clips and it'll be a PITA to get out in the future.

I'd recommend that you either buy the propper removal keys or take it to Ford and get them to do it there and then.

Thanks for the replies - just managed to pick up a set for 99p ... didnt realise that the local motor spares shop would sell them
