car registration company - reliable?

Always search for your plate on the official site first, you'll usually find it there anyway because a lot of plate companies advertise plates they dont actually own, once you purchase from them, they buy it from the dvla and whack their fee on top. Cut out the middle man ;)

correct , the scam is that other companies usually advertise the same price but theirs is plus vat and £80 transfer fee where the dvla include them

Seems fine for me, and the sort of plate I'm after has had £300 knocked off, tempting...

I've been tempted by the personal plate options.
It's just the format I'd want I'm looking at £500 and I just cannot warrant that kind of price simply for a number plate on a car.

been trying to find a nice one for the new car but as I only have 2 initials ( gc ) it is a bit tricky

was thinking over M3KOP but at £1400 it was a bit much and now looks like it is sold

also saw GC02 LFC but the new style doesnt look good and 500 quid was a bit steep for such a crap plate )

seem to remember someone on here as M3 WTF will have to see if he wants to flog it cheap as he doesn't have a M3 anymore ;)

unless of course someone has R8TTY to sell me :p

Can someone tell me how to get Suffix reg plates on the DVLA website please? I can't find it for the life of me...

Even if I enter the number plate I want it doesn't come back with any suffix plates?!
