are there any better sites than Autotrader? Search seems rubbish and sometimes feels like I’m scrolling in a loop

It has most of the used car market, so not really, no.

Only other I would suggest is possibly PistonHeads but Auto Trader is definitely the most comprehensive unless you are looking at approved used which would be better looking at Dealership sites

I think motors.co.uk has always been a better website

Motors / Ebay / Direct to Manufacture (used section) are my go to, rarely look on Autotrader these days.
