hi guys, hope you can maybe shed some light.

my gf has a 58 corsa 1.4. she drove it today at 12.45 and all was fine, drove it at 4 and when braking, the battery warning light comes on and then the oil warning light comes on and the car stalls.

going to take it to the garage tomos but wondered if anyone had any ideas?

also would this sort of thing be covered by warranty?

cheers

thanks for the replys. we took it to the garage at 10 but didnt open until 11. left her car there and went back at 11. I had a shot of her car so i knew exactly what was happening to it so i could explain. 1st time i slowed down and took a corner, it cut out like normal. then after that it was fine.

could this be due to me revving it a bit more and braking more aggrsively? could i have unblocked something at all?

we are still taking up tomorrow tho just to make sure. wonder if we would have to get a part replaced?

any ideas?

cheers

got it in the garage this morning and just in from picking it up. surprise surprise they couldnt find anything wrong with it......

also a quick question on the waranty side of things.

car was registered in January09, had its first service september 2009. now they are saying it needs another service as its been a year. is this right or should we have until january? they are also saying it will be 200 quid.

cheers guys
