Hi there, this question will be little bit out there.
I have an 1998 car that has seen better days. Matter of fact I haven't moved it out of garage for the last 10 something years. Nevertheless there's history and sentimental value to it so the plan is to make it an EV one day.
As it's not in great condition I want to strip it and and throw out most of it, fuel tank, engine etc. I want to strip the paint, fix/weld the rusty stuff and then let it sit in garage for another few years until I'm ready to do the conversion.
The question is how to store it, once I get the body in decent shape and stop it from deteriorating more. She will get new paint but not right away.
Can i leave it in bare metal state, should I prime it or somehow else protect it while it's sitting in garage ?
Thanks in advance
