Car switch panel? for racing on PC!

I've been unable to find one, apart from a few DIY jobs. I am a fan of Euro Truck Sim and use G27 wheel, however I was toying with the panel idea.

One panel, say 2 switches and some buttons.

Engine start button (red led)
Indicators for left/right maybe but a hazard triangle too
Wipers
Horn
and >99 LCD red display for gear switching
A tacho too a guage?

Is this possible? deffo a good market in easy DIY race panels



Is there some sort of middle man DIY company? say 10 slot and add what you want? and label em?

Car Switch Panel for racing & Euro Truck Simulator

Sadly the lack of response to your post probably says it all.

I agree with your thoughts on the subject and I too have been forlornly looking around for suitable panels to use with Euro Truck Simulator. There surely must be a market for vehicle panels like there is for the flight sims.

One possibility is to use one or more of the Saitek pro flight panels and to re-program it/them for Euro Truck Sim (if possible).

What looks more promising is the range of products from Derek Speare Designs. The products look reasonably priced although I suspect postage from the USA will add a fair chunk to the price. Google the name to find the website and there are also a number of reviews out there for the very interesting and extensive range (maybe start with the P1/P2 button controllers). It is certainly something that I am mulling over.

Hopefully someone else may chip in with thoughts on the car panel aftermarket, especially for the UK.
