Well, i've bitten the bullet. Haven't needed it up until now, but a new job means a car is needed. Pity as I love my bike. 3:27 tomorrow. I've had 8 lessons and am reasonably confident. We'll see. Wish me luck. I'm off to bed now. :)

I guess having a bike on the road already means he wouldnt need so many to learn how to use the road since already having experience
 
I only needed six lessons, that was 6 hours total lesson time. However I did drive nearly 1000 miles inbetween that.

Good luck mate, im sure you'll be fine (I've got my bike test today too!)
 
I had 8 1 hour lessons. By bike I mean bicycle :p . I grew up on a farm so I'm I'm used to quads, trikes and motorcross bikes. Driving is easy it's just checking my left mirror and watching my speed. If I can do that I'll be fine :)

If you plan on passing you might want to presume there is a bit more to driving than just that!

Ah yes. I thought we were going to have to wait until tomorrow because the original post was dated today but I've just realised it was posted at 0000.

He must be down there right now checking the mirror and speedo :p
 
Well I failed :( I think you guys misread my post. i didn't mean it was easy, just pointing out the mistakes that I usually make are forgeting to check my left mirror and not watching my speed, so have a rolleyes back :rolleyes: I had 1 major and 2 minor faults. Forgot to reapply a signal at a junction after having to move out of the way of oncoming traffic. I'm a bit dissappointed, but I drove well. It's just one of those things really. I'll get a cancellation soon I hope. :)
 
Passed the test today :) 2 minor mistakes so not too bad. Took a while with Christmas to get rebooked. i had the same examiner again who asked me before the test finished "what car will you buying after the test then?" lol Glad it's done now, it's a bit of a relief.
