It'll be interesting to see how we line-up tomorrow given our injury problems at the back and the fact that in Konate & Gomez, two of our three fit senior defenders are prone to getting injured. You'd imagine Konate won't be risked with VVD partnering Quansah but it's difficult to see Gomez not starting given that we're already going to have to play a kid at RB or LB. If I had to guess I think Gomez will play RB with Beck at LB just so that you've not got two kids on the right hand side of the defence but it's nothing more than a guess - Curtis Jones may end up at RB with Gomez on the left.
what an awful miss.

Because these ties are generally between 2 big PL sides and Sky pay the EFL a lot of money for them.

This hasn't been confirmed. It's reported, as part of the PL's new funding deal for the EFL that a condition would be scrapping the 2 legged semi but this deal still hasn't been agreed. In fact the PL and EFL cut off talks recently because the PL cannot agree amongst themselves what the final offer to the EFL will be.
To be fair, Arsenal, United and Chelsea are all completely pony in front of goal at the moment.

Slightly surprised Konate's playing considering how short we are at the back and how well Quansah's done but other than that the only real decision was up top.
