On my holiday I met someone who is a caravan club member and he told me that by being a member you can get big discounts on ferry crossing.
He didn't know what sort of discounts because he's never booked.
Is it really worth joining a club to get the ferry discounts?

Depends what the discount is as how much you use ferry crossings.:confused:

Why not look at the website and figure it out?

5% to 10% on selected crossings.
I have seen this but if this is top discount as a member they are offering it's not worth joining I can get same with Topcashback or Quidco .

i thought you also got exclusive sites where only members can stay ,i never bothered i just had a seasonal pitch here for £500 a year

I have been using Eurotunnel in the past with massive savings buying 10 crossing's at once but they stopped doing this offer so I'm looking other options like caravan club members. Is there anyone from caravan club members in this forum to share his opinion?

Do you have a caravan or motorhome? If not I can't see much point in joining just to try and get a bit off a ferry crossing. Surely something like Tesco clubcard points would make more sense.

I don't have ever of those. I been told you don't have to travel with caravan that way I'm asking this question. Tesco clubcard card I have looked at this option and it's no good because you have to book from call center not online and you have different price's.
