Just had a quick go on the demo, seems a chilled sandbox type game. Ran really well on my Deck, so will probably be a purchase for me when it gets released next month.

Has anyone else had a go?

Reminded me of this wishlist game I've got but don't think they're similar outside of the chilled/comfy genre.

That looks interesting!

The other chill game I have on wish is this. Really enjoyed the demo.

I thought it seemed good until I saw this:

Probably shoving agenda down our throats, have to wait and see what reviews say.

The game is literally about 'van life', a real life genre of non-native gypsy where dreadlocks, hairy armpits and being related to your partner are the norm, what did you expect?

They probably should have put a trigger warning next to the description.
Build your own home on wheels and live sustainably off-grid. Craft workstations and power supplies, source energy from the sun, wind, or water.
Sustainable living?? What next?? Totally shoving agendas everywhere.

Its depressing that they actually feel the need to make it a marketing point....

If the game is good enough, nobody cares. If not, it just becomes another stick for the haters.

I wouldn't call it that, but yes it's an instant no-buy for me.
They're obvs willing to lose customers over it, which is their choice ofc.
I just wish they'd apply a tag to indicate that so I could exclude by tag.

I'm sure they don't care if people who get uppity about protected characteristics have a temper tantrum lol.

It's not a marketing point - you have to look hard to see "diverse" in descriptions and then do the mental gymnastics to be bothered about it.
