Had a spare Lian Li Q08 laying around and fancied modding it a bit. Here is the case as standard.
Then I decided to have a go with some carbon vinyl.
Front of the case, I had to mount a radiator grill at the front to cover the square off vinyl I had to cut to expose the mesh at the front. I like the grill only mounted it with blu tac to see how it looks and its not the shiny side as that is still coved but really don't like that you can still see the silver of the case behind the grill, maybe it would look better with a black rad grill? what you think?
I haven't cover the side panel yet as I quite like the contrast between the metal and carbon, but not sure yet. I will be getting a window cut in the side of the case to show the goodies inside
