Ive got one of the Asus DCII GTX570 cards, its a liarge 3 slot thing and i cant help noticing that the card is bending under its own wieght.

Ive checked its not the PCI-E power cables pulling the card down as it still bends without them connected. Ive also noticed that the cooler seems quite 'loose' from the card although its cooling well, idling at 28C and raising to 60C when under heavy load.

Is running the card like this likley to damage it? Pic :

Apologies for rubbish camera phone pic :)

As said, try tightening the screws a bit.

It doesn't actually look bent, just at an angle to to I/O plate and PCI slot. Mine is pretty similar, and doesn't seem damaged. So I wouldn't worry too much :)

Make up a support bracket for the end !, at worst a loop of string around the cooler to the top of the case, I often allow the power cables to carry a little of the weight ;)

Yes, It is obviously not good for the card and worse for the PCIX slot.
