Card comparison

A laughable comparison compared to what some of you guys run but I don't game other than stuff like Age of empires.

My current set up has a ATI card in it. The 2nd time I've put an ati card in and the 2nd time I've spent more time with catalyst control center errors than gaming.

I'm looking to lob another bargain basement card in thats nvidia and is this slightly faster?

MSI GeForce N210 1024MB GDDR3

Cheap I know but just checking it is atleast not worse than what I have or I will go for one of the £50 Msi cards

Don't bother with that N210 it will be woefull for gaming and it'll also be slower than your current card. 64 bit memory interface coupled with a measly 16 shader processors = dog slow and really only any good for HTPC duties.

If 50 quid is your limit then keep an eye out for a GTX 260/280/285 on the MM, these usually go for around £35-£50 and will be significantly faster than what you have at the moment, and light years ahead of that N210.

However make sure you've got a reasonably good PSU to run it (500W+ with a couple of PCI-E 6/8 pin connectors) and the room to fit it in your case as they're quite large cards.

As I said I don't game other than Age of Empires 2 and Old stronghold games

Just looking for a minor upgrade non Ati to go in a new build
